• Can I set up an account using a commercial email address, like gmail.com, hotmail.com, etc?

We only accept school email ([email protected]) as of now.

• The app says it doesn’t recognize my school email.

It means we are not open to your school...yet. Please contact us for more information.

• I have submitted registration but didn't receive my activation code. What can I do?

Please email us from your school email. We will solve this problem within one business day. Any message from non-school email can only inquire general questions.

About using Bonnect

• Is there any cost to use Bonnect, like membership fee, maintenance fee?

No. The mobile app/website is completely free to use. If you use the integrated payment, you will pay the service provider (Stripe) service fee.

• How can I contact potential buyers/sellers?

Please use the integrated message feature to contact potential buyers/sellers. According to our Privacy Policy, we neither make user’s contact information public nor share it with other users. You may exchange contact information at your own discretion.

About safety

• Where should I meet and trade with buyers/sellers?

Please meet at some public places, like library, dining hall, gym, grocery, etc. Private places such as dormitory or apartment are highly discouraged.

• What if I find inconsistence with online information, e.g., items, price?

We strongly suggest that you stop the trade immediately and report to us. We will look into reported issue with high priority.

• What if I meet an emergency?

Call 911 immediately.
